 The Sutton Place Hotel, a luxurious European style hotel is currently situated at 995 Bay Steet, in the hear of downtown Toronto.  This sophisticated property has been purchased by Lanterra Developments, a developer who has been changing Toronto's skyline with construction of numerous landmark condominium projects renowned for innovative architecture, exquisite interior design and cutting edge building and environmental technology.

It is speculated that the Lanterra Developments has plans on keeping the hotel building, and converting it into condos, like was done by Camrost Felcorp with the very successful conversion of Yorkville Plaza into condos (also a 1960s hotel with 8' ceilings).

This new project will be located right on the University of Toronto Campus, minutes walk to 3 subway stations, the Yorkville area, and Queens's Park.

The Royal Ontario Museum and Hospitals on University are also steps away from the project and it is the current site of Bistro 990 Restaurant.
